Job Description

Seeking a strategic Construction Project Manager for a North American leader in the Industrial Racking and Storage Solutions space. With locations in across all major hubs across Canada, the company specializes in the design/engineering, manufacturing, project management, installation, inspection & maintenance of a wide range of industrial and commercial solutions.


Position Overview:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for creating and executing project work plans across British Columbia, adjusting them as necessary to accommodate changing needs and requirements.


**Please note: This role may require quarterly travel (as needed) to support larger projects in other Provinces. Travel expenses will be covered by the company.**


What does this role entail?

· Managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring smooth progress across all assignments without neglecting any.

· Overseeing all aspects of each project, including team formation, role assignment, resource planning, and budget management.

· Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal/external team members, serving as a liaison between all parties involved.

· Collaborating closely with sales coordinators to ensure seamless project execution.

· Conducting regular team meetings to assess project status, make necessary adjustments, and drive toward desired outcomes.

· Preparing and deliver project reports on a regular basis.

· Possessing the flexibility to travel to and work on-site under various conditions, prioritizing safety and expertise in our solutions and installation techniques.

· Supervising team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, providing motivation and guidance as needed.

What are the requirements of this role?

· 2-3 years of project management experience, within construction or civil engineering field.

· PMP designation or working towards attainment (company will support continued education).

· Strong planning and organizational skills are essential for this role.

· Proficient communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, communicating both internally and externally.

· Success in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction upon project completion.

· Ability to establish and measure metrics for success.

· Proficiency in completing all necessary company documents and reports.

· Regular communication with the plant regarding issues and complaints, with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action.

· Support sales staff as needed, participating in strategy meetings, and attending all relevant project and site meetings.

· Effective trouble shooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions promptly.

· Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

· Computer proficient with technical understanding.
